SPORTS : ROGER MILLA ALMOST BEAT UP JOURNALISTS OVER NEW COACH

Cameroon’s Football Roving Ambassador on Thursday February 18 almost beat up journalists. He had been invited to witness the contract signing ceremony of the new coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Yaoundé. The football icon was very menacing, intimidating and abandoned the hall prior to the end of the event.
“Continue to write what you are writing in newspapers about Roger Milla. But Roger Milla is not disrespectful like you. I am an honest man. 

You are all badly brought up,” Roger Milla told journalists. He thereafter left the hall in anger. 

Fecafoot’s President Tombi a Roko , the new coach Hugo Broos and all present were all dumbfounded.
ROGER MILLA : ISSUES HIS THREATS
Roger Milla is said to have been furious over reports allegations that he is an ally, protégé and a supporter of the new coach, reason for which he has not been critical of Hugo Broos.
The football icon had denied knowing the said coach. Football pundits are arguing that Roger Milla can’t totally distance himself from the new coach given that he was among the Fecafoot delegation that spent time in Europe hunting for a new coach to take over from German-born Volke Finke.

Hugo Broos who finally was offered a two year contract as coach for the Lions of Cameroon, said that he had no contact with Roger Milla and only met him for the first time at the Thursday signing ceremony.

He said he was ready to face the challenges that lie ahead of him, given his 25 years of training experience and for being the best coach of his country, Belgium, four times consecutively.

Hugo Broos said as soon as he was nominated, he made an inventory of Cameroon players in Europe and in the country and is hoping to win his first two matches against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana,on March 26 in Cameroon and on March  30, 2016 in Durban, South Africa.
