Cameroonians from the different 9 Provinces  in South Africa, have been converging on Durban, to drum up support for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as the team prepares for  a  return match against the Bafana Bafana, billed for  7:00 PM (6:00 PM- Cameroon Time) today March 29.

LION''STRAINING SESSION
The Lions after a 2-2 tie in Limbe, arrived Durban Saturday, and have had training sessions at the

Princess Magogo Stadium  and then the Moses Mabhida stadium where the encounter will take place.

Team officials said but for Nicolas Nkoulou who will not likely play , the entire team  is brazing up to a thrilling encounter.

“His (Nkoulou’s) knee injury can not enable him to play two intense matches in three days,” we are told. The head coach Hugo Bross admitted that the players need to be smarter than before and that there would be changes which he did not make clear.

CAMEROONIANS MOBILISE
Cameroonians have been mobilising themselves  ahead of the encounter. “We have to support our national team. That’s why we traveled from Johannesburg,” business magnet Emile Etambo said.

Cameroonians in Durban South Africa under the leadership of  Cameroon Diaspora Durban South Africa,(CADDSA) welcomed the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to Durban South Africa.

SDF SA and YOUTH LEAGUE CHAIRMEN, CADDSA PRESIDENT: PREPARING

“We are fully behind our national team and anticipate a great

victory over Bafana Bafana here on home ground. We have secured tickets enough for all Cameroonians

Transport arrangement both to the stadium and back has been concluded. We are excited ahead of this encounter. We have also organised an after party for every Cameroonians diaspora from Capetown, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, East London,”etc President of CADDSA,  Divine Fomunyam,  said.

Curiously there has been no word or mobilization directives from the Cameroon High Commission in Pretoria. The phones rang repeatedly when we called  with no response, at the time of filing in this report. We were reliably informed that the embassy hierarchy was spotted at the field where the Lions trained, Sunday.

“There has been no communication whatsoever from the embassy with us in connection with the match against Bafana Bafana this Tuesday March 29.

We are still hoping there will be some communication with regards to any arrangements towards the match. We love our country and so we can't fold our arms and wait,” Fomunyam added. He called on all Cameroonians to be in their numbers at the stadium.

“CADDSA calls on all Cameroonians in Durban and the rest of South Africa to rally behind the Lions. Unfortunately we all need to pay for the tickets. We should ensure our nation’s flag remains flying. Come out with family and friends to support the Lions. Do not wait, or follow skeptics. Let patriotism motivate you. Bravo to the Lions,” he jubilated.
