Alioune Tine: Wants Truth |
Amnesty’s West and Central Africa
Director, Alioune Tine had in September 2015 accused both Cameroon’s Defense
Forces and BH extremist of rights violations.
Cameroon’s government
spokesperson, Issa Tchiroma had described the Amnesty report as unfair arguing
that the retaliation on BH insurgents fully respected the mission of the
Multinational Joint Task Force fighting the insurgents in Nigeria, Benin, Chad
and Niger. He said the military tribunal
is handling the case cited by Amnesty in view of establishing those
responsible.
