Security forces have broken up protests demonstrations,
March 13 2016, in front of the Laquantinie hospital in Douala, organized by
civil society organizations amongst others to demand justice for Koumate Monique who died under still to be elucidated circumstances.

themselves to take to the streets when gun-toting policemen and gendarmes
violently disperse them.

some protesters were seeking refuge, were forced to close down.
