Cameroonians In Cape Town, South Africa, Join Diaspora Protests

Cameroonians from different walks of life, joined others in different countries in the diaspora to protest in Cape Town South Africa. 

The protests took place at the Cameroon Consulate, the French and British diplomatic representations in the part of the country December 6, 2016.


Some of the messages called for a halt to the marginalization of  Anglophones while the biggest banner called for a federal state.


Reliable sources also indicate that similar protests have been billed for South Africa’s capital Pretoria.

  3. Comrades in SA should know that this is not a political party issue and emotions! The Union have failed and we can't continue asking for something that is irredeemably broken down.Even if the demand for federation is laudable, what form of federation are we proposing? There're A two state federaation, theSDF proposal of Five sub states federation, that wouldn't restore the sovereignty of the former Trust Territory of British Southern Cameroons!The other option is to form a confederation of independent states after each have held constituent Assemblies to vote their representatives and governments.
