SDF, SOUTH AFRICA REVAMPS SOCIALIST YOUTHS WITH BELMONDO ACHIRI AS CHAIRMAN

Cameroon’s leading opposition party, the Social Democratic Front, SDF is fine-tuning strategies in view of rebranding the party.
YOUTH LEAGUE CHAIR,ACHIRI: CASTING VOTE

SDF South Africa, (SDF SA) which has that mandate from the mother party at the 2012 convention has revamped the Socialist Youth Movement also otherwise known as the SDF Youth League.

Militants of the party converged on Hillbrow, Johannesburg South Africa February 27 and elected a new executive of the Socialist Youth Movement.

After almost a week of heated debates and campaigns on the SDF forum and in migrant communities, Belmondo Achiri Atanga was elected the new chairperson of the Socialist Youths.

SDF SOCIALIST YOUTH EXCO 
He takes over from Jessy Itambi who was the pioneer President. 

Suhfree Cletus was elected Vice Chair and Philip Batey Secretary General. 

Solomon Doko the Organizing Secretary would be assisted by Jude OnGock. Yannick Taka is the Financial Secretary.

Commissioning the new Socialist Youth Movement executive members, the SDF Chair for South Africa, 

CROSS SECTION OF SDF DELEGATES 
Milton Taka, reminded them of the need to urgently implant the movement back at home in Cameroon.  

“We have the blessings of the chairman Ni John Fru Ndi and all the party hierarchy. 

We also have our manifesto and intend to implement it.

I wish to assure you that things would no longer be the same again. We would be mobilizing young leaders who have proven records of integrity and courage in the pursuit for justice and equal opportunity for all.

The party hierarchy in SA earlier conferred awards to three of theirs; comrades Chia Lumumba of Cape Town, 

Mukolo of the Albert Mukong Turffontein Ward in Johannesburg and Chris Zenkeng, for their selfless services to the party and their contribution to build Cameroon’s democracy.
