Common Law Lawyers, who
constitute members of the Fako Lawyers Association, FAKLA, are insisting that for their
indefinite strike action to be called off, they must meet only with Prime
Minister Head of Government. Not The Minister of Justice or the Bar Council
President.
In a statement issued
November 18 2016, after a meeting in Mutengene, South West Region of Cameroon, they said such a meeting to diffuse tension must take place
in the North West or South West region where they were assaulted by security forces and not in Yaoundé.
