PIONEER UB STUDENT LEADER ASKS BIYA NOT TO HEED TO 2018 RE-ELECTION ‘CALLS’

An Appeal to Shun All Calls for You to Seek Re-election as President in 2018

By Walter Onekon Angwere*

With all due respect His Excellency,President Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon I wish to plead with you NOT TO HEED to the calls for you to run for the presidency in 2018. All these politicians or call them ‘CPDM Elites’ are trying to distract you and cause you to plunge the nation into an abyss, in which you will be disgraced.
ONEKON: WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH

BIYA : WOULD YOU LISTEN?
I trust your wisdom and experience can lead you into believing that there comes a time in the life of a nation when “the people” and not “an individual” take precedence.

You have done a ‘good job’ at the helm of the Republic for the past 33 years and beyond, and it is time you went on a deserved rest.

However, the people of Cameroon will ‘miss you.’ Thank you H.E for considering my appeal.

God Bless Our Nation Cameroon.

He is a graduate of Political Science and Law from the University of Buea, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Environment and Natural Resources Management at the Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi-Kenya. He is one of those who think power must be rotatory and that it is time for an Anglophone Cameroonian to rule the country.
